D’ Berryglobal Exports commits twenty percent of its earnings to social welfare. That money funds food for the underprivileged, medical treatment for people who cannot afford care, support for cancer patients, and community nutrition programmes. This is a standing structural commitment, not a campaign — it applies whether the year is a good one or a difficult one.
Four Areas We Fund
- Food for the underprivileged — direct food support delivered through community distribution in and around Nagpur
- Medical treatment for the needy — funding the gap between what a family can pay and what treatment actually costs
- Cancer patient support — covering treatment costs and the practical burdens of a long course of care
- Community nutrition — nutrition programmes addressing deficiency in the communities we work in
A Fixed Share, Not a Leftover
Most corporate giving is discretionary — made when there is surplus, cut when there is not. We set ours as a fixed percentage of earnings for a straightforward reason: a fixed share cannot quietly become zero. It scales with the business, which means every order a buyer places contributes to it directly and proportionally.
How We Buy
Ethical sourcing — we buy from farmer clusters and processors we have visited and assessed; traceability to the source is a condition of supply.
Fair trade practices — growers are paid fairly and on time.
Environmentally conscious processing — energy-efficient dehydration where available, careful water use in cleaning, and packaging chosen to minimise spoilage loss.
Zero tolerance for exploitation — no child labour, no bonded labour, no unsafe working conditions anywhere in our supply chain.
What This Means for Buyers
Buyers increasingly need to demonstrate the integrity of their own supply chains to their customers, their auditors and their regulators. If you require supply chain documentation, sourcing declarations or a supplier audit for your own compliance programme, ask — we will support it.
